JOB PURPOSE:
The Solutions Engineer will be responsible for handling the data mining of the sales prospects and supporting the sales team on successful closing of the leads.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The Solutions Engineer will collect details of potential customers using various techniques such as CRM system, emails, enquiry calls, connecting through social media, using sales tools etc.
• Making cold calls, follow ups and generating leads for converting to sales.
• Maintain and regularly update the database for generating new leads and opportunities
• Handling customer communication on sales enquiry, status follow ups, fixing appointments etc.
• Serve as back-office support for the on-site sales team, coordinating with various departments to meet the needs of the sales team.
• Lead and coordinate the company’s participation in relevant trade fairs and conferences.
• Ensure the sales modules in ERP are updated regularly without any errors and follow up with sales team to ensure the team members are updating the system correctly.
• Creation of leads in ERP system based on enquiries and follow up with customer for successful conversion.
• Assigning the leads to sales engineers for visiting the customers and ensuring the leads are converted to sales.
• Preparation of sales reports for review as per management requirements.
• Any other tasks as assigned by the line manager or senior management.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

• Diploma/Graduate in relevant field with 2-3 yrs of relevant experience.
• Strong Interpersonal skills to clearly convey technical information and build relationships with customers.
• Time management skills to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines consistently.
• Willingness to stay updated with industry advancements, new technologies, and ongoing product training.
• Proven ability to maintain punctuality and reliability in executing job responsibilities.
• Strong Command of English is required.
