Lakes Home Care is looking for two experienced live-in carers to provide long-term personal care to a gentleman in Windermere.
This post is to commence as soon as possible and the successful candidates will follow a two-weeks on, two-weeks off rota pattern.
The role includes living with and caring for a lovely gentleman and his wife. The client is a funny, kind gentleman who is a pleasure to care for. He needs support with mobility, medicines, stoma care, cooking, personal care and help around the house.
He is kind-hearted with a lovely, supportive wife. He is a delight to support.
The ideal candidate would have a driving license so they are able to drive the clients' mobility vehicle to help him get out and about!
If you're successful in your application and interview, your employment will be subject to:

• A satisfactory enhanced DBS check (update service)
• A further, informal interview with the client and possibly a family member
• Receipt of two references which in our opinion are satisfactory.

We are looking for someone with a smile who will go the extra mile, someone who our clients will look forward to seeing and will want to see again. We need carers with the ability to build a positive relationship whilst adopting a person centred approach.
Pay: £875 per week
£50 food allowance per-week
Hours: We are looking for around the clock, live-in care. You will have a two hour no-contact break during the day. The client does not require support during the night.
Travel from your location to the client's home is not paid.
