We are looking for a Part Time Delivery Support Operator to join our VOD Fulfilment team within the wider Media Operations department, located in Hammersmith. This team consists of five full-time staff members, including the VOD Fulfilment Manager, and they are responsible for tracking and coordinating all non-linear content deliveries, work orders, and processing tasks.

At Hearst Networks EMEA, we collaborate with multiple service providers, and our primary responsibility is to oversee the On Demand content aggregation process. This includes ensuring that vendors have all the necessary information to complete their tasks, and maintaining smooth daily operations with timely deliveries. Your role will be to ensure this process runs seamlessly, along with managing other daily tasks, so the ability to work effectively under pressure is an essential skill in this role.

As we work closely with various internal departments and frequently bridge the gap between commercial, editorial, and technical teams, strong communication skills are also essential for navigating these different areas toward a common goal. You will form key relationships around the business with the following teams:

  • The core Operational teams, including Technical Operations, Content Management, and Language Operations
  • Programme scheduling and Acquisitions
  • Product and Partnerships
  • Vendors, suppliers and third parties
  • Engineering, IT and Business Analysists
The ideal Delivery Support Operator will have a passion for Broadcast and Digital media, with a strong interest in the industry's future. We’re looking for someone with a go-getter attitude, who takes pride in ownership and strives to excel in their role, as well as someone who aligns with our company values and thrives in an open-minded, collaborative, and diverse environment.

This role is perfect for individuals at the start of their career, offering an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and advance within the field.

This is a permanent part time position (2.5 days per week). This role will be hybrid based in the London office, working on exciting, award-winning brands like Sky HISTORY and Crime+Investigation.

About Us
At Hearst Networks EMEA, we share stories that matter, inspiring and exciting our audiences with hit US franchises (The Curse of Oak Island, Pawn Stars), must-see docudramas (Royal Kill List and Colosseum), and original commissions (Sex: A Bonkers History with Amanda Holden, Royal Autopsy, Cops Gone Bad with Will Mellor). Over the past few years we’ve championed our own original programming and relished in the successes of recent series’ such as The Unbelievable with Dan Aykroyd, Great Escapes with Morgan Freeman, The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard and Royal Mob.

We welcome talented candidates with infectious enthusiasm who love what they do, and are ready to learn, develop and thrive. Here you’ll find a community of innovative, creative and inspiring people who aren’t afraid to embrace responsibility and try new things collaboratively, as a team.

We are a certified Great Place to Work® with a can-do, motivated culture that believes in working to live, not just living to work. Every employee has a voice and is encouraged to be themselves and be ambitious. With offices in Rome, Madrid, London, Warsaw, Munich and Johannesburg, we are a truly international organisation that celebrates difference and diversity.

As an inclusive employer, we value the diversity of our teams and want our workforce to reflect our wider society. We encourage and welcome applications from people from under-represented backgrounds and are keen to make sure we are inclusive and accessible to all. Pease do let us know if you require any adjustments or assistance for meetings and communications with you when you apply for a role with us.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute On Demand delivery processes to ensure timely delivery, manage and curate data across systems, update content metadata.
  • Issue monthly delivery inventories to platforms and aggregators, with escalation to Operations management if timelines are at risk.
  • Maintain strong working relationships to support the VOD team, wider business and external providers.
  • Monitor the user experience on key platform UIs to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Handle essential administrative tasks, including organising, tracking, and maintaining detailed records, coordinating schedules, and ensuring smooth operational workflows.
