Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering parcels safely and efficiently across southeast London.
Duties

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all road safety regulations.
• Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including documentation of any issues encountered during transit.
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure the delivery van is in good working condition.
• Assist in warehouse duties as required, including inventory management and organisation of stock.

Requirements

• Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is preferred.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in warehouse operations is advantageous.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and time management.
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is a plus.
