As an Activities Co-ordinator at Brookholme Care Home, working alongside another team member you will help to create a stimulating environment that enables us to deliver exceptional all-round care and support for our residents. Our ethos is all about celebrating life, so you’ll help to devise imaginative, fun and motivational activities that suit every interest and ability. An extremely rewarding role, part of your time as an Activities Coordinator will be spent getting to know our residents and their families before you help create tailored activities programmes focused on maximising everyone’s wellbeing, independence and social engagement.
Applicants must have an upbeat personality, a happy disposition, be self-motivated and have the ability to encourage others. Care home experience is an advantage, but not essential as is any previous experience of providing activity or leading others. We find that successful candidates come from a wide variety of backgrounds.
Hours of work are normally 10am to 2pm with some flexibility possible with start and finish times, working 16 hours per week.
