A unique opportunity to join our Vocational Services team has arisen, supporting our Vocational Manager to offer a wide range of activities and projects at the Activity Hub for people with learning disabilities, autism and other complex needs. As Vocational Services Facilitator you will support the further development of Vocational Services including, but not limited to; healthy living projects, creativity, arts & crafts, education, music and much more! This is a great role for someone who is creative and passionate about enabling others to pursue their hobbies and interests.

An opportunity has become available at The Hub for Vocational Service Facilitator. The role will be to deliver planned, person-centred sessions to the people we support across Values In Care.
About you
To be successful in the role of Vocational Services Facilitator you must hold or be willing to work towards your QCF Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent). It is essential to have experience of working with individuals with challenging behaviour and Autism. Importantly you will be able to demonstrate experience of working with adults with learning disabilities and provide examples of where you have promoted and supported skills of engagement in vocational activities/community engagement.
Ideally you must also be able to demonstrate skills in some, or all, of the following areas:

• Arts and Crafts
• Creativity / Pottery
• Educational Development / Life skills
• Music sessions / Dance / Therapy
• ASDAN – Or experience in delivering and assessing educational programs.
• Most importantly you will be passionate and motivated to get involved to make our activities accessible and engaging. Please note this will include sporting activities.
