Administration & Accounts Assistant
Exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator with book-keeping skills to join the finance and administration team headed-up by the Office Manager.
Cableduct is an award-winning manufacturer of standard and bespoke cable management systems, specialising in high quality floor boxes. These are installed in high end residential (Buckingham Palace), retail (Harrods, Burberry) hospitality (Peninsula Hotel) and office spaces (80 Charlotte St Fitzrovia W1) in the UK and worldwide. Our customers, our brand and our quality are at the heart of everything we do.
We are a family business and manufacture at our factory in Croydon. This is a small, entrepreneurial business in which you will have to think on your feet. Therefore, someone who enjoys a busy day and is happy to “muck in” will do well.
This is a permanent full-time role based at our offices in Croydon and ideally applicants will live within a 30-40 minute commute.
Key responsibilities & skills
· Salary: competitive starting salary, depending on experience

· Monday to Friday: 9am-5pm 37.5 hours, plus 30 minutes each day for lunch unpaid
· There is no parking at the factory

Key responsibilities & skills
- Standard book-keeping and stock management using the Sage 200 Evolution ERP system
- Support procurement and supplier management
- Manage suppliers, process and logistics for special finishes
- Raise sales orders, delivery notes and sales invoices using sage
- Raise and process stock orders on sage for manufacturing stock parts
- Support monthly stock checks and input data onto sage
- Support management team and sales team with administration and provide holiday cover
- Active liaison between factory and office and all departments
- Answer the phones and deal with customer and supplier enquiries
- Minimum 1-3 years in an administration and bookkeeping role
- Polite, professional, and persuasive communication skills, able to build relationships easily
- Well organised, and able to prioritise and multitask
- Focus on accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience with Sage accounts software, particularly Sage 200 Evolution, and full Microsoft suite preferred.
· Salary: competitive starting salary, depending on experience
· Bonus schemes
- Monthly bonus of 10% of salary if company hits sales revenue target (we hit target every month last financial year but assume we hit target 10 out of every 12 months)
- Quarterly bonus based on share of profits made by the company (paid every quarter depending on profit achieved)
· Statutory pension
· Monday to Friday: 9am-5pm 37.5 hours, plus 30 minutes each day for lunch unpaid
