Equans is looking for a Property Maintenance Apprentice to join our team on site in Westminster, London on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
A role has become available on a prestigious government facilities management contract for a Building Fabric Apprentice. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to work in a supported learning environment in order to develop the skills and knowledge that will assist in the completion of their qualification.

WHAT WILL YOU DELIVER?
- Working alongside the engineering team and learn how to repair and maintain a listed public sector building; work on installation projects and develop general carpentry, painting and decorating, and other building-related skills
- The main duties will include effectively performing building fabric maintenance through following a PPM schedule and ensuring compliance in a flexible and efficient manner
- No previous experience is required; however it is essential for the successful candidate to be proactive, motivated and ambitious as they will be expected to drive their own learning
- The role is site based, covering one very large Grade II* listed government office building in Central London. The shift pattern is working 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday
- Working as part of a wider engineering team, there will be a requirement for the successful candidate to be flexible and provide support in various areas when requested
- Working with various different parties, including specialist subcontractors in order to deliver work to the highest of standards for our clients. You must follow best working practices at all times

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
