Our company is looking to recruit a talented Architectural Technologist, to join our growing business in Kent. You’ll be working on a host of projects, generally with a Residential bias. Our projects are predominantly domestic in nature, and range from minor household alterations through to developer housing of multiple units. We are also involved with applications which might include Agricultural development and commercial property. This is a fantastic opportunity for a well-rounded individual with technical knowledge of both traditional and modern construction methods, as well as the Building Regulations.
We are a small architectural and technical consultancy with sister companies who carry out Planning Consultancy and Geospatial Surveying. We work collaboratively and independently across multiple types of projects; Providing the services we do, enables us to offer expert knowledge in each of the areas that other architectural design companies cannot.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate the following:
· A recognised Architectural qualification, with a minimum of Part 2, or equivalent.
· Proven experience, and a thorough understanding of UK Building Regulations, technical design standards and legislation.
· Effective communicator with clients and construction teams is essential.
· The ability to work collaboratively with team members, fellow employees and colleagues within sister companies, as well as working independently when required.
· Proficient in Auto CAD or Archi CAD is essential.
· A portfolio that demonstrates the required qualities.
· Exceptional organisational, verbal, and written communication skills with fluency in English.
· Live within commuting distance of our office, in East Peckham, Tonbridge, Kent.
· 3D modelling, Adobe Photoshop experience desired, but not essential.
The Role and Renumeration:
· Office based, working on a 37.5 hour week.
· All IT, laptop, software etc. will be provided.
· 20 days (plus bank holidays) Annual Leave, rising to 25 days after five years employment.
· Business social events throughout the year.1 additional Birthday holiday day.
