Our company is looking to recruit a talented Junior Architectural Technologist, to join our growing business in Kent. You’ll be working on a host of projects, generally with a Residential biased. Our projects range from minor household alterations through to developer housing of multiple units. This is a fantastic opportunity for a well-rounded individual with some technical knowledge of both traditional and modern construction methods, as well as the Building Regulations.
We are a small architectural and technical consultancy with sister companies who carry out Planning Consultancy and Geospatial Surveying. We work collaboratively and independently across multiple types of projects, and we find that providing the services we do we provide expert knowledge in each of the areas that other architectural design companies cannot.

Ideal candidates will have:
· A recognised Architectural qualification, with a minimum of Part 1, or equivalent. We will also consider those who are coming from a site-based background with the appropriate experience.
· Experience, and an understanding of UK Building Regulations, and technical design standards and legislation.
· Effective communicator with clients and construction teams is essential.
· The ability to work collaboratively with team members, fellow employees and colleagues within sister companies, as well as working independently when required.
· Experienced in Auto CAD or Archi CAD.
· Exceptional organizational, verbal, and written communication skills with fluency in English.
· Live within commuting distance of our office, in East Peckham, Tonbridge, Kent.
· 3D modelling, Adobe Photoshop experience desired, but not essential.
· Practical understanding of house building.
The Role and Renumeration:
· Office based, working on a 37.5 hour week.
· All IT, laptop, software etc. will be provided.
· 20 days (plus bank holidays) Annual Leave, rising to 25 days after five years employment.
· Business social events throughout the year.
· 1 additional Birthday holiday day.
