Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated Bilingual/Multi- Lingual Assessors for Community Languages, to support students studying GCSE and A-Levels, to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in evaluating students' language proficiency, ensuring that assessments are conducted fairly and accurately. Duties
- Conduct assessments for GCSE and A-Level students in community languages, ensuring adherence to examination standards and guidelines.
- Provide constructive feedback to students on their performance, highlighting areas for improvement and encouraging further development.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure alignment of assessment criteria with the curriculum.
- Maintain accurate records of student assessments and progress, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on assessment practices and educational standards.
- Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance assessment skills and educational knowledge.
Qualifications
- A relevant qualification in education or language studies is preferred.
- Previous experience in assessing GCSE or A-Level qualifications is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of the curriculum for community languages at both GCSE and A-Level.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to educate and inspire students effectively.
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills are essential for maintaining accurate records.
