As a Principal Consultant within Internal Audit, you will be responsible for delivery of specialist contract audit and project assurance audits across our whole portfolio of clients. This includes specialist contract assurance services to a range of public sector, charity, listed and privately owned organisations.
You will make an impact by:

• Managing a range of assignments delivering key specialist internal audit engagements through to final report stage.
• Development of core client deliverables including input into annual planning, assignment scopes, audit committee papers and annual reports when the specialist contract management skill is an element of the audit plan.
• Liaising with our wider solution sets including Forensic Investigations, Business Transformation, Deal Services and Risk and Governance to ensure our clients receive a premium service.

• Experience in some or all of:
  • Capital and revenue contract audit and assurance covering major infrastructure, capital development and service contracts
  • Procurement assurance including knowledge of Procurement Legislation
  • Project assurance
• The ability to oversee and execute specialist audits in accordance with IIA standards.
• Professionally qualified (IIA, ACA, ACCA) or relevant project assurance qualifications eg PRINCE2 etc, with experience in managing
