We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Barista to craft exceptional coffee experiences for our discerning customers.
Your responsibilities:
· Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages with precision and excellence.
· Ensure consistent quality in every cup, following established recipes and techniques.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and equipment.
· Welcome customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service.
· Take orders accurately and answer questions regarding coffee and pastry offerings.
· Process customer transactions accurately, handling both cash and card payments
· Uphold Naya’s commitment to exceptional customer satisfaction.
· Familiarize yourself with our menu items, including ingredients and allergen information.
· Make recommendations based on customer preferences and promote seasonal specials.
· Work closely with the kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
· Assist in stocking and replenishing coffee and pastry supplies as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role, preferably in a café or patisserie environment.
· Proficiency in espresso machine operation and coffee preparation techniques.
· Experience in preparing matcha beverages.
· Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
· Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization in the workspace.
