## Overview
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at our vibrant countryside Gastropub. The ideal candidate will be over 18 and have experience and a passion for bartending and serving.
## Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks and pints
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and equipment and keep track of stock
- Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate the till accurately
- Restocking bar inventory and supplies
- In depth knowledge of drinks menu, able to upsell and recommend
- Able to improvise
## Skills
- Proficient in bartending techniques and cocktail preparation
- Basic maths skills for handling payments and managing stock
- Excellent hospitality skills to provide top-notch customer service
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene practices
- Experience working in a busy restaurant or similar fast-paced environment
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Clean, tidy and organised during the shift
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £11.44-£12.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 45 per week
