Plug and Go Ltd are a small yet thriving electrical installation company based in Clitheroe. Due to recent expansion, we're looking for an experienced administrative team member. You will be required to use your own initiative to get tasks completed. This is a great opportunity for a proactive and organised individual to join a growing business where they have the chance to become an integral part of our team.
Our office admin will be an enthusiastic, professional individual to join our small friendly team to undertake various admin roles and to assist the director on various tasks during the working week. We believe this is a very important role in the business and we are looking for someone that believes in our core values as a business. The role is based in our Clitheroe office 16 hours a week with the option for overtime. We understand the importance of work/home life balance and can offer some flexible working to suit your needs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer telephone and emails and respond to customer enquires in a friendly yet helpful and professional manner.
  • Completing basic accounting tasks and bookkeeping.
  • Processing government grant paperwork.
  • Assist with HR tasks such as PAYE, staff pensions, staff holidays, time sheets etc
  • Taking minutes for staff appraisals and team meetings.
  • Create invoices and assist in client quotations.
  • Assist with organising the staff work schedule.
  • Provide excellent customer service to vendors, customers, staff and contactors.
  • Ensure the organising and storing of paperwork is completed both timely and accurately.
  • Perform basic market research tasks and advertising tasks.
  • Checking and signing deliveries on arrival and ordering materials.
  • Keeping up to date with legislations and regulations updates/audits on our working processes.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in an admin role and bookkeeping essential.
  • Keen attention to detail, with an ability to spot errors.
  • Familiarity with accounting procedures.
  • Impeccable writing skills.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • Excellent customer service and problem solving skills in a professional environment.
  • Must have strong computer skills. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel essential. Experience with Quick Books and Tradify desirable.
  • Proficient in basic computations such as add, subtract, multiple, divide, etc.

We are a well established firm in the electrical industry. Our office is based in the centre of Clitheroe.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £11.50 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
