This is a seasonal part time work from October 19th to end of December. There is the possibility of work again next season.
Duties:
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing salads, and assembling sandwiches
- Take customer orders and process payments accurately
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Clean and maintain the cafe area, including wiping tables, washing dishes, and restocking supplies
- Ensure that food storage areas are organized and properly stocked
- Follow all health and safety guidelines when handling food and operating kitchen equipment
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
Skills:
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods
- Basic math skills for processing payments and calculating change
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Note: Prior experience in a cafe or food service environment is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
