Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in need of care. Our clients in Wendover require a sleeping night carer to support a lady who may get up at night due to dementia needs.
Duties

• Support client when getting up at night
• Be aware of needs for back brace and moving and handling requirements
• Be available to get up at night if client is getting up
• Sleeping for most of the night shift
• Assist client with personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
• Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in condition.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Support clients with dementia care and other cognitive impairments through engaging activities.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any concerns to relevant healthcare professionals.
• Support client and her husband at home with home cooking and household tasks

Experience

• Be able to work independently at night with client
• Previous experience in senior care or assisted living environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with case management practices and care plans is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients are essential.
• Work in collaboration with other team members and Live-In carer

Pay: £12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 56 per week
