Job Description:
As a Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in the construction and installation of wooden structures and fixtures. You will be responsible for reading and interpreting construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications to perform a variety of carpentry tasks with precision and safety. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the successful execution of construction projects, ensuring high-quality results that meet design specifications.
Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand project requirements and design details.
• Perform carpentry tasks such as cutting, shaping, and fitting wood materials.
• Construct and install wooden structures, fixtures, cabinets, and other carpentry items.
• Install architectural elements accurately and safely, ensuring they meet design specifications.
• Measure, mark, and layout work to ensure precision and adherence to design specifications.
• Utilize hand and power tools to complete carpentry tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and construction personnel to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion.
• Adhere to safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Report any issues, defects, or safety concerns to the Site Supervisor promptly.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools commonly used in carpentry.
• Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
• Good physical condition to perform manual labor.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to adhering to safety standards and regulations.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
