Job Description:
As a Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in the construction and installation of wooden structures and fixtures. You will be responsible for reading and interpreting construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications to perform a variety of carpentry tasks with precision and safety. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the successful execution of construction projects, ensuring high-quality results that meet design specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour

As a Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in the construction and installation of wooden structures and fixtures. You will be responsible for reading and interpreting construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications to perform a variety of carpentry tasks with precision and safety. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the successful execution of construction projects, ensuring high-quality results that meet design specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand project requirements and design details.
- Perform carpentry tasks such as cutting, shaping, and fitting wood materials.
- Construct and install wooden structures, fixtures, cabinets, and other carpentry items.
- Install architectural elements accurately and safely, ensuring they meet design specifications.
- Measure, mark, and layout work to ensure precision and adherence to design specifications.
- Utilize hand and power tools to complete carpentry tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and construction personnel to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion.
- Adhere to safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Report any issues, defects, or safety concerns to the Site Supervisor promptly.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools commonly used in carpentry.
- Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
- Good physical condition to perform manual labor.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to adhering to safety standards and regulations.
Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
