CCTV & Security Engineer
Secure Systems are seeking to employ a new member of staff to join our security team. You will be responsible for undertaking various new installation, pre-planned and reactive maintenance works in either CCTV, Access Control or Intruder Alarm Systems.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a knowledge of Intruder Alarm, CCTV and Access Control Systems including the relevant standards. You will also be required to participate in the company’s on-call rota.
You will take responsibility for all assigned projects from commencement to completion. You will complete these projects in a manner that exceeds our customers’ expectations and ensures that work adheres to all company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Installation, servicing / maintenance, testing & commissioning of Intruder Alarm, CCTV and Access Control Systems or related equipment.
• Provide a quality installation in the most methodical and efficient manner, including the ability to digest detailed scope of works and drawings.
• Production of high-quality commissioning and handover documentation and marking up as fitted drawings.
• Always maintaining a safe work environment and having a good understanding of Health and Safety i.e., Method, Risk assessments, safe working procedures etc.
• Client training and demonstration of systems to explain the systems working and functionality.
• Responding to out of hours service calls.

Person Specification & Technical Competencies

• Demonstrate at least 3 years previous experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrate a general knowledge of Security Systems - Intruder Alarms, Access control, CCTV.
• Manufacturers training such as: Paxton, Honeywell, Texecom , Pyronix, Hikvision, Axis.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills.
• Sound administration skills with an understanding of the importance of paperwork and the accuracy and timeliness of submission of same.
• Full Driving License (subject to inspection for company insurances)
• Employment will be subject to successful BS7858 security screening and Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
