I'm currently on the lookout for a talented Chef or CDP to join our team at The Farmhouse at Fincham. This is a full-time position located at Lynn Rd, King's Lynn PE33 9HE, United Kingdom.
As a Chef / CDP, you will work alongside our head chef to create delicious and visually appealing dishes for our guests. Your role will involve preparing and cooking high-quality meals, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met at all times.
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have a passion for food, creativity in the kitchen, and excellent attention to detail. You should also have previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment and be familiar with different cooking techniques and styles.
Key responsibilities:
-Preparing and cooking dishes according to the menu
-Ensuring food quality and presentation standards are met
-Supervising kitchen staff and coordinating kitchen operations
-Ordering ingredients and maintaining stock levels
-Adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations
-Collaborating with the head chef to develop new menu items
Requirements:
-Proven experience as a Chef or CDP
-Understanding of various cooking methods and techniques
-Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
-Strong communication and teamwork skills
