The Marcliffe has a highly regarded fine dining restaurant and an excellent reputation for wedding and corporate events, with the ability to provide high end banqueting experiences for our valued clients.
Under new ownership, and the guidance of a dedicated and experienced Executive Chef, The Marcliffe is expanding the skilled kitchen team. If you would like to be part of this fantastic team in a prestigious hotel on the outskirts of Aberdeen and have the fine dining experience required, we would love to hear from you.
The ideal person will:
· Have previous experience working as a Chef de Partie as part of a fast-paced, quality driven, culinary team, within a fine dining hotel or rosette standard restaurant.
· Have the drive to enhance culinary knowledge and skills, working towards Sous Chef role.
Have the skills and desire to help to develop junior chefs.
· Be skilled in managing multiple and often competing priorities.
· Actively learn new techniques and be aware of industry trends.
· Be passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests.
· Have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner.
· Be a strong team player with great communication skills and a fun, enthusiastic approach.
