The Grove Pub, Dining Room and Garden is situated on leafy Maple Road in Surbiton, an area often referred to as “Surbiton Village”, due to its wealth of independent shops, eateries and restaurants. A stone’s throw from the Thames and pleasant walk along the river from Kingston Upon Thames.
We are looking for a Chef De Partie who is hands on, creative, and passionate about showcasing seasonal fresh food.
This is a great opportunity for a passionate Chef de Partie, looking to join and progress in a fast paced environment. We focus on using fresh seasonal produce to develop a dynamic menu. As a Chef De Partie, you will be responsible for supporting the kitchen team to deliver exceptional food that is in line with our standards. You will be confident in working a nominated section (as instructed by the senior chef on shift), and extremely team-driven in order to achieve the best service results. To be eligible for this role, you will need to have at least 2 years experience working in a similar position and possess knowledge of kitchen production and health and safety procedures. The positions are full time, part time or anything in between, and be able to work evenings & weekends. But it's more than that. What are you like to work with? How do you rally a team?
