We are looking for a talented and passionate CDP / Grill Chef to be part of an exciting new opening in Mile End/Victoria Park this November. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in launching our innovative burger concept restaurant that’s set to become a vibrant addition to the local food scene.

Key Responsibilities:

• Key member of kitchen operations, including set-up, service, and close-down.
• Responsible for running own section within the kitchen ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality.
• Prepare and cook all grilled food items, ensuring they are cooked to the appropriate temperature and texture. Assemble burgers and fry food.
• Follow recipes and standards to maintain consistency in the taste and presentation of dishes.
• Ensure that all food items are properly stored, labelled, and rotated to prevent spoilage.
• Maintain a clean and organised workstation, following all health and safety standards.

Who We’re Looking For:

• At least 1 year’s experience in a similar senior kitchen role.
• Strong knowledge of Food Safety, Hygiene, and HACCP protocols.
• Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen.
• A natural leader who excels in team development and problem-solving.
• Someone with great organizational skills, who can multitask and manage their time efficiently.
• Enthusiastic, positive, and creative, with a passion for food and innovation.
• Ready to collaborate with the General Manager to foster a progressive and supportive team culture.
