We are seeking a passionate, skilled, and experienced Chef to create delicious high end food. You will be responsible for preparing roast dinners using fresh produce and collaborating with other kitchen staff to deliver food that meets the highest quality standards.
To ensure success in your role as chef, you should have great organisational skills, impeccable time management and be comfortable working both individually and as part of a team. Top candidates will also be creative individuals, capable of creating dishes that set us apart and keep people coming back for more.
Chef Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all food is of excellent quality and served in a timely manner.
- Prepare and cook fresh food, with seasonal ingredients in mind.
- Run the kitchen shift in collaboration with other chefs/ kitchen staff.
- Ensure safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
- Receiving feedback and making improvements where necessary.
Chef Requirements:
- Culinary school degree
- Experience as a working chef
- Knowledge of the culinary arts
- Perfectionism in sanitation and quality control
- Expert multitasking ability
- Strong time management
- Exemplary work ethic in a high-pressure environment
- Passion and pride for delighting people with food.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £14.00-£18.00 per hour

• St Albans, Hertfordshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• cheffing: 3 years (preferred)
