The Role:
We are looking for enthusiastic and caring Children's Residential Support Workers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to children and young people, helping them to develop and flourish in a safe and nurturing environment.
What You'll Do:
  • Care and Support: Provide day-to-day care, support, and supervision, fostering a nurturing environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and social development of each child.
  • Safeguarding: Ensure the safety and welfare of all children by adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Daily Activities: Plan and engage in fun and educational activities, supporting the children’s interests and developmental needs.
  • Health and Well-being: Support children with their health and hygiene routines and administer medication as needed.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of each child's progress and prepare reports for reviews and meetings.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, external agencies, and families to provide comprehensive support.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with Ofsted standards and regulations.

  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in childcare or social care are advantageous.

Please note the advertised salary is based on an hourly pay rate of £12ph + 1 sleep-in's per week, paid at £48 per night.

  • Residential Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
  • Support Environment: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
  • Driving Licence (preferred)
  • NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (preferred)
