Job Overview:
The Cleaning Operative is responsible for maintaining the highest levels of hygiene and cleanliness across the slaughter line, adhering to health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and sanitation protocols. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that the processing area meets industry and regulatory standards, particularly in relation to food production safety and cross-contamination prevention.
Due to the nature of the role, which involves working in a meat processing environment, candidates should be comfortable working in areas where blood and other animal by-products may be present. Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: Knowledge of cleaning within the meat industry or other food production environments is an asset.
• Attention to Detail: A thorough approach to cleaning, with an emphasis on preventing contamination and maintaining high hygiene standards.
• Health and Safety Awareness: Familiarity with health and safety regulations, particularly in food production settings.
• Physical Stamina: The ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including handling heavy machinery and cleaning in confined spaces.
