Client Manager (Dairy)

There will be the opportunity to involve yourself with commercial opportunities by working with multiple big budget clients and encouraging a close working relationship with the new business team. As part of a 4-person sub team there will be the opportunity to mentor those directly within your group, as well as client executives and category analysts in the wider dairy team.
Due to the data investment of your client base, there's potential to work with the full range of data covering EPOS, purchase and consumption to build a 360-degree view of the consumer, delivering targeted insight to your contacts. The varied size of your client base means the right individual would have autonomy and a real chance to impress at a senior level, both within Kantar and at clients. An average month could involve delivering a Christmas review to category managers, shaping in store fixtures for butter, measuring the success of the latest product launches and even tasting these launches at your clients’ offices.
You will be joining a dynamic team who are commercially successful (above company average growth for the last 3 years), innovative (second highest client satisfaction score in 2024) and can provide opportunities for further growth and development over time. As well as learning from your immediate team, an added benefit is being part of a supportive team of more than 15 dairy experts working together to identify big stories in the category.
Key Outcomes: What does success look like?
- Clients: Day to day client management, taking ownership of client relationships across the portfolio.
- Account Development: Grow & advance how clients see our role in their businesses, giving them practical insights and the confidence that we are the right partner for their needs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the team as well as other areas across the business to deliver outstanding service to the client.
- Insight: Use our data to tell compelling stories based on business questions and demonstrating your knowledge and expertise of our services. Delivering presentations and larger briefs.

Revenue: You will have a Commercial target and work with your team to identify leads, by finding and developing conversations, maintaining strong client relationships and being close to their key business questions.
- Confidence in extracting & translating data sets into inspiring insights for clients, preparing and delivering presentations of a high visual, verbal & written standard.
- Ability to establish and nurture relationships with clients.
- Commercial & curious mentality with the ability to answer client’s big questions and unafraid to have a point of view.
- Keen to develop knowledge and be seen as an expert, talking articulately about the industry and client challenges to connect with client needs.
- You have a curiosity about new technologies and in the power of consumer data and insights.
