We are seeing skilled CNC Milling Setter Operators to join our team here at Kristek Precision. The successful applicants will set and operate milling machine tools to meet customer standards and specifications.
You will work on a mix of high quality components, in small to medium batch quantities, within a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC Milling machines using Siemens and Fanuc controls
• Follow manufacturing quality plans, improving and developing as required
• Ensure machines are operating efficiently
• Inspect finished products for visual quality and drawing specification
• Use various measuring equipment to inspect components
• Populate route cards and SFDC system to record manufacturing information
• Communicate well with other team members
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace
• Work safely and report any Health and Safety issues

Skills and Experience Required

• Experienced and skilled with setting and operating CNC Milling machines
• Ability to produce products in metal and a few other materials adhering to quality standards
• Ability to interpret technical drawings to a good standard
• Good understanding of manufacturing techniques
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Computer literate
• Excellent attention to detail
• Positive and proactive approach to Continuous Improvement
• Familiar with either Siemens or Fanuc Controls would be helpful but not essential

Hours of work

• Double day shift (salary includes average 15% shift premium)
• 39 hours per week - Monday to Friday - 30 min unpaid lunch break.

Week 1 - Monday to Thursday 0600 - 1400, Friday 0600 - 1300
Week 2 - Monday to Thursday 1400 - 2200, Friday 1200 - 1900
