We are looking for a full time shop/deli assistant to join us at Honey & Co Daily, 19-21 Store Street, WC1E 7BL in Bloomsbury!
Honey & Co. Daily is our deli, bakery & café, located on Store Street, just off Tottenham Court Road. We have a deli counter at the entrance – serving takeaway sandwiches, salads, cakes and coffees – and a dining room beyond, serving a more substantial eat-in menu for breakfast and lunch. From 5pm we serve our dinner menu, The Daily Nightly.
We are looking for a hard-working, enthusiastic and responsible candidate. You must be comfortable working independently and also love interacting with customers. We are known for our friendly, welcoming customer service so you're expected to uphold this standard at all times. Experience in a similar environment is a bonus!
A passion for or desire to learn about Middle Eastern food and ingredients is a must, as you will be expected to be proactive in learning about our company and sister restaurants, as well as the beautiful products that we stock.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include engaging with and helping customers, serving food from our counter, working the till, maintaining the food and shelf displays and keeping a clean working space. A good knowledge of food health & safety is a bonus.
The shift times vary, starting as early as 7:15am with the latest finish time 19:00, five days a week. We are closed on Sundays, so you will have each Sunday off plus another different day each week.
