Dementia Friendly Coordinator
Hertford

This role is key to improving the lives of people living with dementia and their carers by facilitating the creation of dementia friendly communities in Hertfordshire.
You will work to promote a better understanding of dementia across communities to reduce stigma and discrimination and promote independence for people living with dementia.
You will have previous experience of working with people with dementia or their carers together with excellent project management and communication skills
Your skills:
- A good understanding of dementia
- Experience of providing a service to the public
- Experience of working with older people
- Experience of delivering projects
- Experience of collecting statistical information
- The ability to deliver information and advice (including benefit advice)
- Knowledge of social care
- Good organisational and communication skills
