Are you a Senior Care Assistant, Support Worker, who has thought about progressing their career but hasn't found the right opportunity?
We are searching for an individual to gain valuable experience working as an Assistant Manager within Supported Living. There will be a development plan in place for the suitable candidate.
People in Action are a registered Charity and limited company supporting over 350 people to live within their community. As we continue to grow and take on new business in different areas of care we are looking to recruit a dynamic and proactive Assistant Manager who will have an active role in supporting all services we provide for customers that have learning disabilities and mental health illnesses. The services are based around Warwickshire, specifically Leamington and Stratford.
Working alongside our experienced Service Manager, you will be required to:

• Be on the shift rota supporting our customers, which will include earlies, late's and sleep-ins
• Assist with the line management of the team of support workers including supervisions, on the job coaching, booking training and preparing the rota
• Assist with preparing detailed person-centred support plans and risk assessments
• Ensure that we deliver high quality care to our customers and meet their individual needs

We are looking for someone with:

• NVQ 2 in adult social care (or equivalent) or be working towards
• At least one year’s experience of working with people with a learning disability
• Experience of care delivery
• A commitment to continuous improvement of the service
