The Role

As a Deputy Commercial Manager, you will provide commercial support within multi-disciplined integrated capture and delivery teams as required within the established commercial strategy.

Day-to-day, you’ll contribute to our business-winning strategy you will be responsible for all aspects of effective management of contracts within the portfolio. Including legal, pricing and intellectual property.

Your responsibilities will include:
Contributing to commercial and contractual support, including customer bidding and contracting

Advising on export and import control (in support of our trade solutions team), risk management, change control, contract and document drafting, and issue resolution

Demonstrating commercial acumen on tenders and contracts of medium to high complexity

Supporting senior commercial staff on major projects or new business campaigns

Supporting contract management activities, including engagement throughout the contract lifecycle

Managing post-contract processes, whilst ensuring continued customer satisfaction

Essential experience of the Deputy Commercial Manager:
Strong proven background in commercial management

Ability to influence pricing strategy within contracts

Demonstratable experience with business budgets and financial objectives

Strong stakeholder management skills

An accountable and motivated self-starter

This role is 37 hours per week based at our Bristol site. With hybrid working patterns available.
