Are you passionate about early years education and ready to take the next step in your career? We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our vibrant nursery team in Liverpool.
About the Role:
As Deputy Nursery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Nursery Manager to ensure the smooth running of the nursery. In addition, you will take on the role of Room Lead for one of our childcare rooms, ensuring a high standard of care and education is consistently delivered.
Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the day-to-day management of the nursery, ensuring compliance with EYFS standards and safeguarding requirements.
• Leading your designated room, managing the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children’s development.
• Supporting the Nursery Manager with administrative tasks, including record-keeping, scheduling, and office duties.
• Communicating effectively with parents and carers, providing updates on children’s progress and addressing any concerns.
• Conducting tours of the nursery for prospective parents and promoting our welcoming and nurturing environment.
• Mentoring and supporting staff in your room and across the nursery to ensure high-quality teaching and care practices.
• Overseeing daily routines in your room, including mealtimes, nap times, and transitions, to maintain consistency and structure.
• Contributing to the nursery's development plans and implementing new ideas to enhance our offering.
• Deputising for the Nursery Manager as required.

What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking an individual who has:

• A Level 3 Early Years qualification or higher (essential).
• Significant experience working in a nursery setting, ideally in a leadership or supervisory role.
• A sound understanding of the EYFS framework, Ofsted requirements, and safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
• Strong administrative skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• A warm and approachable personality, with a passion for building strong relationships with children, families, and staff.
