i3D robotics Ltd. is an expanding micro company based in Kent, specialising in the development of 3D vision systems for robotics, scene monitoring and inspection. The company is looking to expand its product range and has recently been awarded several exciting development contracts across several industrial sectors. We work extensively in the transport sector, nuclear decommissioning industry, robotic construction, many manufacturing sectors (glass, metals, ceramics, etc.), plus new areas such as telepresence, nuclear fusion, autonomous welding systems and VR/AR real-time digital twinning. A key part of our R&D is in how to help these industries reach Net Zero through Industry 4.0 and beyond.

Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Overview:
We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing new and existing electrical systems and products. You will work with a multidisciplinary team developing advanced vision systems for robotics, infrastructure mapping and smart industrial process-control. This includes interfacing with robotics systems and plant operations hardware.
Duties:
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
Additional pay:
Expected start date: 01/08/2024

Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Overview:
We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing new and existing electrical systems and products. You will work with a multidisciplinary team developing advanced vision systems for robotics, infrastructure mapping and smart industrial process-control. This includes interfacing with robotics systems and plant operations hardware.
Duties:
- Develop and innovate electronics and mechanical design concepts.
- Design multi-layer PCBs using Autodesk Fusion 360 and Eagle.
- Working with surface mount technology and performing soldering tasks as needed
- Perform testing and debugging of PCBs, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Working with logic controllers.
- Ensure compliance with safety-critical technology standards.
- Support marketing initiatives to enhance company visibility.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards
- Bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in electronics and mechanical systems design.
- Proficient in Autodesk Fusion 360, Eagle or similar CAD design package.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with safety-critical technology standards and regulatory compliance.
