Job Description:

Job Purpose
Working within the Power Generation production team to dismantle small Electro/Mechanical components (generators) down to their individual components, overhaul/repair and assemble generators ready for final testing following written instruction manuals.
Essntial Duties and Responsibilities
- Stripping, cleaning, inspection and build of small Electro/Mechanical components (AC/DC Generators/Starter Generators).
- Raising and completing inspection reports.
- Updating details onto computer system.
- Working with the team to meet production deadlines.
- Maintain quality standards in accordance with regulatory and company procedures.
- Work with the team leader to meet customer service levels.
- Meet health, safety and environmental regulations.
Experience and Qualifications
- ONC / HNC Engineering (desirable)
- Numerate and literate – minimum GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English (desirable)
- Experience of Power Generation, Electrical Theory is highly desirable.
- Prior experience in an engineering/workshop environment is essential
- Prior experience of Aerospace and/or aviation industry desirable.
