We are looking for a permanent experienced full time florist to join our friendly Barkers Team.
We are a large well established fast paced florist and gift shop. This exciting opportunity will suit someone who is self-motivated, creative and enthusiastic with a great passion for flowers.
If you are someone who enjoys working in a team with a good proven floristry and sales background, we would love to hear from you.
Floristry is forever evolving therefore our successful candidate will also show the willingness and enthusiasm to try new ideas, with excellent customer service and sales skills at the forefront.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver excellent sales and customer service over the phone and face to face in the shop
Execute daily customer orders including wedding, funerals and corporate work.
Day to day administration of customer orders.
Knowledge and understanding of merchandising inside and outside of the shop.
Execute the effective rotation of stock.
Skills required:
Effective communication and sale skills.
Extensive flower knowledge.
Ability to incorporate new floral trends and techniques.
Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks throughout the day.
Clean driving licence.
Salary:
Full time 40-45 hours per week.
