£12.50/hour
We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our team. Your job will be to carry out day-to-day financial activities related to the Group to enable the preparation and maintenance of timely and accurate financial information.
Core Responsibilities
- Operate the purchase ledger for all Elder Care Homes to include:
- check coding of invoices
- producing suggested payment lists
- reconcile supplier statements
- producing BACS report
- dealing with supplier queries
- creditors review
- Prepare and enter credit card and petty cash transaction journals onto Sage
- Carry out intercompany reconciliations
- Prepare and enter onto Sage all other journals as required
- Prepare various analysis as required by the Senior Management Team
- Assist with year-end procedures
- To support with the operations of the sales ledger for all homes to include:
- updating Coolcare as required
- producing invoices
- chasing missing contracts
- entering receipts from all sources
- dealing with debt collection
- Liaise with the Senior Finance Assistant and Financial Accountant on issues relating to the sales ledger and debt collection
- Deal with all queries in collaboration with the Senior Finance Assistant relating to the sales ledger
- Support with annual fee increase
- Update cashflow outgoings for Elder Care Homes
- Assist with the maintenance and updating bank feeds
- Any other duties as reasonably expected
- AAT Level 2/3 - Desirable
- ECDL or equivalent - Desirable
- Excellent MS office skills - Essential
- Good communication + interpersonal skills - Essential
Pay: £12.50 per hour
