The Role
- The administration and maintenance for all DHK EFB devices including presentations to new starters.
- Complete Airfield assessments as required for all our operations.
- Building and maintaining Boeing OPT performance software to ensure accurate and correctly limited take off and landing calculations across all fleets.
- Ensure relevant Nav data, charts and briefing are held and in place for all our worldwide operations.
- Perform user acceptance testing on EFB applications ensuring the required standards are met before entering the live environment.
- Source, test and maintain new applications including gaining CAA approval and amending company manuals to reflect updated and changes.
- Regular audits of the cockpit ensuring all stocks and required items are onboard and in working order.
- Create and maintain aircraft APS sheet along with weight and balance minor mods records.
- Any previous experience of aviation related roles would be preferred but not required as training will be provided.
- Hold five GCSE’s – A-C (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
- A strong working knowledge of MS Office packages including but not limited to Word, Excel and Outlook.
- A solid understanding of Math and basic equations.
- Able to work an occasional late/night shift.
- A clear criminal record required for an Airside pass.
- Good knowledge of both i Pad OS and Mac OS.
- Excellent presentation skills
- Knowledge of aircraft performance and weight and balance preferred but not essential.
- Customer service focused with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A “hands-on” people person with a flair and maturity for working in a dynamic and responsible position
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures.
- The ability to work under pressure and provide strong leadership throughout.
- Excellent team working skills with the ability to deal with colleagues at all levels.
- Willing to embrace the DHL ethos and work accordingly to achieve the targets set.
- Exemplary time keeping and attention to detail are essential.
