Job Overview
Minimum of 16 hour a week. Further hours available depending on floristry experience.
We are seeking trained Florist to join our team. We will also consider a trainee florist if the right candidate with the right attitude to learning a new skill applies.
Ideally, we are also looking for a candidate with a full manual drivers license, however it is not essential.
Duties

• Design and create floral arrangements.
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand their requirements and provide recommendations.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the shop, ensuring all displays are attractive and well-stocked.
• Keeping track of stock levels.
• Provide care for plants and flowers, including watering, trimming, and ensuring optimal conditions for longevity.
• Sell additional products such as vases, cards, and gifts to enhance customer experience.
• Delivery of flowers (license dependent)

Skills

• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently and follow them through to completion.
• Excellent communication skills in English, excellent numerical skills also.
• Build positive customer relationships
• Creativity and an eye for detail and accuracy.
• A passion for flowers and a desire to learn about new trends in floristry.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From £11.44 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
