Job overview: As a Freelance Event Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the events team to deliver high-impact corporate events. This role requires you to manage multiple projects and clients, ensuring the smooth execution of events ranging from 200-300 attendees. The contract begins in September and spans over two months, offering the flexibility of hybrid working while being office-based in Wandsworth twice a week.
Here's what you'll be doing:
- Supporting the events team in the delivery of corporate events, including project management, supplier coordination, and speaker briefings.
- Managing guest acquisition and liaising with attendees.
- Providing on-the-ground support during events, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Working across 4-5 clients and managing up to 10 events during the contract period.
- Approximately 3-4 years of experience in corporate event management.
- Strong organisational skills with proven project management experience.
- Experience in client liaison and excellent communication skills, particularly in writing.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
You must have the right to work in the United Kingdom. Visa sponsorship is not available at this time.
