Opportunity for a full or part time combined role in a small, friendly, family run business based in Nottingham. The role will involve delivering Diesel, Gasoil and Kerosene in a fuel tanker, or in barrels using a 7.5T truck, in Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Derbyshire. The role will also include basic yard duties and maintenance.
Requirements;
Fuel Tanker Experience
HGV Class 2
ADR
CPC
Driving 18T and 26T rigid tankers, and a 7.5T tail lift truck.
Full time role would be 39hrs/wk @ £14.90/hr – OTE ~£30,200 basic + Overtime @ 1.5xbasic; ~£6k pa.
Part time option also available, either part days or limited days per week, all based on the above hourly rates.
Due to seasonality of the business there is opportunity for more hours/overtime work during busy winter months, flexibility in working hours is required to be able to flex up to meet demand.
Summer months are much quieter and often result in shorter working days (still at full pay.)
The role is physically demanding due to the nature of the deliveries to be made, ie. Numerous small drops to domestic, commercial and agricultural tanks, and handling and manoeuvring 200 litre barrels, so good physical health is required.
A strong teamwork ethic is essential, with willingness to carry out a variety of tasks in the yard, or office, and support other team members when required.
