Overview:
We are seeking a Kitchen Porter / Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our kitchen and restaurant environment. This role is essential in supporting the kitchen staff and ensuring smooth operations.
Duties:
- Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed
- Dispose of trash and recycling properly
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and inform when replenishment is needed
- Maintaining the restaurant cleaning duties
Experience:
- Prior experience in a kitchen environment is preferred
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques is a plus
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Understanding of kitchen hygiene practices
