*Job Summary* We are looking for a Key Stage 3-4 Functional skills tutor to join our team, on a permanent basis term-time only, to start immediately. Must have previous experience in teaching and relevant qualifications to be able to deliver our tailor-made programme. All applicants will need to complete an Enhanced DBS check and willing to complete compulsory training. *Duties* - Communicate with students to understand their learning needs and goals - Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students in various subjects - Develop personalised lesson plans and teaching strategies based on individual student needs - Help students improve their academic performance and achieve their learning objectives - Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians - Utilise effective teaching methods to engage and motivate students - Adapt teaching techniques for students with special education needs *Skills* - Experience working with children, particularly in special education - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students and parents - Ability to educate and explain complex concepts in a clear manner - Proficiency in tutoring techniques and methodologies
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £13.59-£16.92 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 35 per week
