Working hours:

• 7.30am – 4.00pm with half an hour unpaid lunch break and two paid 15 minute morning / afternoon breaks so a 40 hour week
• Days of work – Monday to Friday
• Hourly rate: £13.00
• Holiday: 23 days holiday plus statutory Bank Holidays (3 days must be taken between Christmas / New Year)
• Pension: Company pension after successful completion of 3 month probation period

• Responsibilities include:
• Provide cover for Goods in / Goods out as required but main focus will be on keeping the yard / warehouse organised
• Loading / Unloading (weight limits, segregation, ADR)
• Keep yard tidy, organised and accessible
• Labelling orders
• Ensure safe and compliant storage of raw materials and finished product including Flammable Store
• Manage stock rotation of raw materials – move goods from warehouse to factory as required for mixes
• Decant product from IBC’s into smaller containers as needed for customer orders
• Ensure accurate & timely stock transactions are recorded
• Using scanners to correctly record stock movements
• Stock interrogation
• Assist with the management and return of empty returnable containers
• Assist with the process for aged stock, empty used IBC’s, washings
• Ensure adequate empty IBC’s are kept on site
• Arrange removal of wooden pallets as required to keep yard tidy
• Compile waste lists for removal from site and keep samples
• Organise skip removal and oversee correct use by factory workers
• Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
• Check all finished IBC’s are sealed / cable tied
• Monitor condition of finished goods
