What is my role as Goods Receiver/ Kitchen Porter?
The Goods Receiver/ Kitchen Porter is part of the back of house team and reports to the Goods in Controller. He always ensures that goods coming into the business are the correct one and dispatch them accordingly. Temperature control, quality control and recording of deliveries requires a meticulous personality with a will to ensure that all is as it should be.
The successful candidate will be flexible in their role and willing to help out in the Kitchen as a Kitchen Porter as well. The Kitchen Porter always ensures the kitchen and restaurants have the right equipment clean and available and that the kitchen is kept clean. They work with front of house equipment (plates, cutlery) and kitchen equipment (pots and pans) in the potwash area.
Previous experience in a similar role or in a kitchen environment is preferred.
