Thompson & Co Solicitors is a well-established firm of Solicitors with offices in South London & West London. This particular position is advertised for paralegal who can mainly work in our Immigration department as an apprentice.
The Immigration Department has been in existence for over 18 years. It has represented clients at all levels including the Supreme Court. The department specialises in Legal Aid and private matters, including cases involving Asylum, Appeal, Public Law, Settlement and all applications relating to leave to remain. The firm has the benefit of a Legal Aid contract in Immigration and Family.

Graduate Solicitor Apprenticeship:
Candidate entrance requirements:

• Employed and registered on the payroll with a law firm based in England.
• Work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
• Possess a UK Law Degree with a 2.2 or above.
• Have a GCSE in English & Maths between A*-C and be able to provide evidence.

Providing that the above criterias are met and a contract of Employment is agreed and signed (subject to interview), candidate can begin enrolment for November Cohort starting from 13th November 2024.
The firm can also support successful applicants in achieving a fully funded Level 2 Immigration accreditation (subject to terms and conditions).
We are offering a starting salary of £13,500 per annum which is negotiable on the basis of any experience and accreditations of an Immigration caseworker.
