Care Assistance are the backbone of the care. You provide the warmth, support and companionship to people in need. If you are passionate about helping others, delivering the best possible person-centred care and strive to show kindness and compassion to those whom you help then we want you. If you are the sort of person that makes the residents feel valued and motivated to empower them to achieve the most out of their day then we want you.
No two days are the same, but your expected duties are:
Carer/Senior Carer:-

• Providing the best possible person-centred care that is catered to their unique individual needs. Encouraging their independence whilst maintaining their dignity.
• Supporting the residents day and night, helping them with their activities-of-daily living and meaningful activities. This could be by supporting them with thing that they enjoy but are now no longer able to do independently.
• Providing personal care
• Monitoring and identifying changes in residents needs, adapting and liaising with the residents and the nursing team for their care planning.
• Communicating with the residents, their families and friends.
• Documenting the care that you have provided.

Additional Med/Tec duties may include:-

• Creating/Editing Care Plans
• Monitoring care provision to make sure the residents are getting the care and support that is required
• Administration of medication
• Liaising with healthcare professionals
• Able to lead and manage a team, providing guidance and support
