Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Head Chef to join our team in an exciting restaurant setting. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food, possess excellent leadership skills, and have a strong background in kitchen operations. Responsibilities: - Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production in the kitchen - Create innovative and high-quality dishes that meet customer expectations - Manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations - Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness - Develop menus and specials in line with seasonal ingredients and customer preferences - Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed - Collaborate with management to achieve financial targets and maintain cost control - Provide guidance and support to junior kitchen staff members Requirements: - Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a busy restaurant environment - Strong culinary skills with a focus on creativity and quality - Excellent leadership abilities with a track record of team management - In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices - A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment - Relevant qualifications in food preparation and kitchen management Join our team as a Head Chef to lead our kitchen brigade, showcase your culinary expertise, and contribute to the success of our restaurant!
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.72-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 per week
