Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Car Mechanic with extensive experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles. Key Responsibilities:
- *Diagnose and Repair:* Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle makes and models, including both petrol and diesel engines.
- *Maintenance:* Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of vehicles, including oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and more.
- *Troubleshooting:* Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical and electrical issues, and implement effective solutions.
- *Supervision:* Lead and mentor junior mechanics and apprentices, ensuring adherence to safety standards and best practices.
- *Customer Service:* Provide excellent customer service by explaining vehicle issues and repair options to clients, and offering professional advice.
- *Record Keeping:* Maintain accurate records of all services and repairs performed, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- *Parts Management:* Order and manage inventory of parts and supplies necessary for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience as a car mechanic, with at least 3 years in a senior or supervisory role.
Education: Diploma or certification in automotive technology or a related field.
Skills: Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment, strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, and excellent manual dexterity.
Communication: Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Driving License: Valid driving license
