Abbey Logistics – A UK and European, Industry Leading, food and non-food tanker Distribution Business are seeking to recruit the following;
HGV TANKER DRIVER - Days

• Monday to Friday Days
• Full time permanent
• Based at our Middlewich depot
• Tanker experience preferred
• £13.25 (first 20 weeks employment) raising to £14.25
• Overtime paid at £14.52ph
• 9 hour guarantee per day
• Loading and unloading of Powder Tanks, both food and non food products
• Full tanker training provided
• £1000 loyalty bonus after 12 months

The role of an Abbey Logistics Class1 Tanker Driver is to safely and efficiently, deliver customer products using bulk powders tankers throughout the UK and into Europe if required.
Duties will include:

• Collection & Delivery of product in tankers to and from customer locations .
• Keeping your vehicle in clean condition
• Using your digital hand-held device to record all circle checks and deliveries
• Following company procedures in accordance with strict industry guidelines

Experience

• Hold a full LGV C+E (Class 1) licence (no more than 6 penalty points)
• Tanker work preferred but not essential as training will be given
• Must hold a valid and up to date DCPC Card
